Hello, 2023 Sarah here. This About page was made for me by talented illustrator Veronica Dearly, and I still love it. Back in the day, readers and other bloggers would tell me how unique it was, and I think it helped me get noticed by PRs too. However, the downside to an About page you can’t update becomes obvious when your life has completely moved on and you’re no longer doing things like making a website about Russell Brand’s radio show (eek!) or liking inspirational quotes (what the hell, that wasn’t even ironic). Whilst I’m proud of all my former achievements, and I met a lot of lovely people through the Brand site that I’m still in touch with, there’s a few things I’d probably erase from this illustration. Plus, ten years on there’s many TV shows and others things I now love. Anyhoo, I’m going to keep this up for the nostalgia, and it still tells you a lot about me. And Big Brother is coming back, so that’s handy.
