If you’re on the hunt for the perfect palette to take on your summer holidays, may I suggest this limited edition wonder from By Terry? The Game Lighter palette comes in two colour ways – vibrant pastels (Funtasia) or Pixi Nude (above), a tiny but perfectly formed collection of neutrals (with a random pink shade). This teensy little palette is ideal for travelling, it’s compact and lightweight, and still gives you five matte shades and five shimmers, everything you need to create a variety of looks.
On the downside, each pan is so small (the middle pans are the size of the tip of my index finger), they don’t stay pristine for long, and it can be tricky to manoeuvre a brush in there, though not at all impossible. I love this palette as the mattes are some of the creamiest you’ll ever try, and they’re beautiful shades. I’ve swatched the pink (top swatch, below) and the brown shade (bottom swatch). I’ve also swatched four of the shimmer shades, and as you can see they’re a pretty range of silver, bronze and champagne, there’s also a gold. I think these are smooth enough to double as highlighters, and I’d definitely use the pink shadow as a rosy blusher, making Pixi Nude even better for packing light. If you get a chance, take a closer look at this little cutey, I’m so done with giant palettes that take up valuable space when great shadows can be this small and perform so well.
