If you're in central London on the 7th, 8th, or 9th July pop into the Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Taste Lounge at 7 Rathbone Place (just off Oxford Street) for a fun and totally free sensory experience. This is a great pop-up for kids and adults alike, and includes a 'touch' wall where you can pop digital bubbles, egg-shaped chairs with in-built audio, not to mention a bar totally covered in dry ice from which you can have a free ice-cold bottle of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar. This is the latest in the Coca-Cola line-up, and will replace Coke Zero, having a look and taste that's much closer to the original Coca-Cola with none of the refined sugar.
To celebrate both the launch of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and the opening of the Taste Lounge pop up, some journos and bloggers were invited to come and experience the lounge and meet Rita Ora. She was interviewed by Roman Kemp, a young man who just by being alive and working as a presenter makes me feel so old because I used to love both his parents as a child. Before they arrived I had been saying that an ice-cold bottle of Coke reminds me of beach holidays, and Roman said that's what it reminds him of too! Rita said if could choose anyone dead or alive to have a Coca-Cola Zero Sugar with, it would be Marilyn Monroe just to find out if she'd be more inclined to sip from a straw or glug from the bottle.
Hats off to Rita, who dealt with a wardrobe malfunction in her stride (enter cute stylist), and spent ages taking photos and chatting with people at the end.
Make sure you head to the Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Taste Lounge over the next few days and get your free ice-cold Coke. It's really nice, and that interactive bubble wall is addictive….
