Fans of the glittery swatch, prepare to be overwhelmed with sparkly goodness. The Chantecaille Chrome Luxe Eye Duo in Tibet is a certified stunner. Part of their limited edition Christmas 2015 range (or holiday range I should say, because it’s not all about you, Jesus) Tibet is one of a range of five duos, each one inspired by the architecture and aesthetic of a different part of the world. I’ve never previously thought of Tibet and pictured extreme glitter, but it makes me want to go there. This is hands down the best duo in the range, and it’s a good job as the others seem to not be readily available in the UK. It being limited edition means you’ll need to nab one soon if you like what you see, get the duo while you can from Harrods or Space NK.
You can see the hints of holographic sparkle (above) that give these shadows their duo chrome magic. Applied dry they give an amazing light-reflecting sheen, and when wet they’re metallic as hell. I also like packing the silver one on dry as a glitter, which gives an intense wet-look sparkle that handily works as a day to night look. The silver has a taupe finish, and the darker colour is minky with gold flecks.
I absolutely adore the Chantecaille Chrome Luxe Eye Duo – versatile and pigmented like no other, and goes on and blends like a dream. They catch the light and take no prisoners, and even though it’s an intense wet-look metallic it will come off easily when you want it to, with no stains or glitter residue to bother your pillow. One of my favourite past times of recent weeks has been pairing these shadows with others, and I’ll let you know if I come up with any exciting combinations.
